Commit2Fit Weekly Challenges

We have 5 team colors: Red, Yellow, Green, Silver and Blue.

This year we got Commit2Fit buttons with the team colors on them so you can wear them when you work out to help motivate each other.

Carrie Bennett, OSF Marketing Coordinator, will send out weekly team challenges on Friday’s via Facebook and e-mail. She will also post them in the files section of the Commit2Fit page. If you are not under our Facebook, we can add you. Just go to Commit2Fit.

The challenges will run Friday-Thursday. On the following Friday post on Facebook (or e-mail Carrie) your team color and let us know if you completed the challenge.

For every team member that completes the challenge, your team color will be thrown into a drawing. On Monday, Carrie will draw for prizes. The team color drawn will win the challenge. The more team members that participate in the challenge, the more opportunities you will have to have your name drawn.

Please remember on Facebook once a Team Color has posted, please comment under that team color’s name instead of making a new post. For example if someone is team blue and posted they completed the challenge, please comment that you also completed the challenge under their post. This helps track things better. We should only have 5 posts on Friday of team colors and comments below. That would help a lot. Thanks and good luck!

 


TEAM CHALLENGE WEEK 6: Make at least 1 meal a day last 20 minutes. Suggestion: Eat with your non-dominate hand. If you are a right handed person,eat with your left hand. If you are a left handed person, eat with your righthand. This will cause you to slow down and enjoy your food (hopefully not onyour lap). You will have to really concentrate on the food that you are putting into your mouth.

TEAM CHALLENGE WEEK 5:
Eat at least 4 servings of fruit & veggies a day.

TEAM CHALLENGE WEEK 4:
Park the in the furthest parking spot and walk into work/store.

TEAM CHALLENGE WEEK 3:
Saturday: 25 sit ups ,Sunday: 25 push ups, Monday: 30 Jumping Jacks, Tuesday:15 Crunches, Wednesday: 10 squats, Thursday: 5 Burpees

TEAM CHALLENGE WEEK 2:
Drink 8, 8oz of water every day. There are 8 ounces in 1 cup. An average bottled water has around 16 ounces of water. Just drink 4 bottled waters a day. Breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner.

Team Challenge Week 1:
Record your calories consumed and physical activity down in a daily log. You can use websites or applications: www.myfitnesspal.com or www.sparkpeople.com. You may also use the tracking log in your Commit2Fit bags.
